Uh… you’re overusing the -masu form. Plus, “tsukeru” is an ichidan verb, not a godan verb. Still not sure what you’re trying to say by using “ki wo tsukeru,” regardless.
The thing is I am used to the -masu form. Rarely do I use the short form. I only use it whenever I’m serious or when I’m upset.
Oh and about that weird rambling here, I believe I was telling Tamura-san to be safe on her birthday. Yeah, my Japanese is really rusty and to be honest, I’m still not sure if what I am saying is proper. I so need to hit the books again. That’s for sure.
