あそび

Right now in Japan is “Garou Densetsu” Hotaru’s birthday. Why do I place so much emphasis on her? The reason is because she’s the first character I made a game guide of. 誕生日おめでとうねほたる.

Tomorrow is the birthday of one of my friends also. I have to thank Hotaru for making me remember his birthday. Hee hee! Oh and I told him about this also.

I talked with Tsubasa and I managed to play with him and a bunch of our friends. Seeing that my brother wanted to make trades with him, I got a couple of super potions. Ha ha ha!

Tomorrow, I plan to kick back with another friend of mine. We’ve been planning this for a while. What we’re going to do, I don’t know.

Summer already?

Well, I’m back. Too bad I’m not in the best of moods. You might want to look at the score boards from yesterday. That’s all that I’m going to say.

Though it’s still May, I’d figure it’d be cooler. Unfortunately, I’ve been wondering about this for the past 2 or 3 months. Today, the high is 90F/32C. This is normal on a July day, but not on a May one here. Oh and I have a shift in 3 hours.

If you’re wondering about my job scenario, I am going to give the news now. I will ask for a new job some time after Memorial Day. The reason is because I don’t know if I mentioned this already, but I’ve been planning some sort of gathering for the past year or so. Therefore, some time next month, I’m going to have a new job thankfully.

I am going to get my own server soon, which is something I’ve been serious about for the past four years or so. Not only that, there’s that group blog project. So, I guess not everything is that bad after all.

“Pearl” is beating me up as usual. I finally got down the Wi-Fi connection. Too bad I have to be near my computer, but at least I don’t have to pay for the connection. Oh and I so need to play with friends too in regards of “Mario Kart DS”. For “Pearl”, my number is 1160-6329-7480 and yes, I have all of Hikari’s pokemon up to this point.

The corrections session will resume some time next week. The day after tomorrow in Japan is SNK Hotaru’s birthday. Whether or not I actually do a fan art of her, I don’t know. It’d be nice if I actually do a drawing, but if I don’t do one, oh well.

I definitely need to beat up this computer that I’m typing on so bad.

あの任天堂! (That Nintendo!)

I mentioned that I picked Pochama in “Pocket Monsters Pearl”. Reached the second gym and the second gym leader is a plant user. Guess what? I pretty much raised Pochama this whole time as well as Pachirisu.

See how much trouble I’m in? XD

A New Blog

Well, I’m back! First off, 誕生日おめでとうございます川上さん! Second, I haven’t been posting a lot for a while because I was playing that “Yuugiou” card game. Now, add another reason: “Pocket Monsters Pearl”. Yeah and my youngest brother has “Diamond”.

For that “Yuugiou” game, I started what? Three months ago? Yeah, my youngest brother somehow sucked me into it, but he’s on hiatus because of his grades. I have a spellcaster base beatdown deck. Like Yuugi, I have a Black Magician, but I’m still finding ways to make my deck better. (It’s better than many people’s first three month decks.)

In “Pocket Monsters”, I picked Hikari (the girl) and I picked Pochama. (Yes, I’m following her anime route pretty much, though she only has a fun lineup and nothing more.) Whether or not I do contests, I don’t know. Maybe. XD

I plan on making a group blog with Spiritsnare and Tsubasa of Waffles and Just Wingin’ It. Not only that, we’re going to add a couple of our other friends too. Hope it’ll be big.

I’m sorry. I’m playing “Pearl” as I type this up. I’ll end this entry on an interesting scenario. First hand. Flop: 3d, 2c, 9c (if I recall, as the suits are past my mind now). Sister goes all in with a 7-5 off suit. Brother calls with a 6-5 off suit. Turn: 7s. River: 4d.

Evil. XD

Hiatus

Hayate, being the slick guy he is.

Gomen ne minna-san. This site will be on hiatus. I should be back two weeks from Tuesday. By then, the window of making an entry on Kawakami Tomoko-san’s birthday should be wide open.

You’d expect me to say some sentences like, “I’m going to pretend that this blog never existed. Forget this! The second episode of ‘Hayate’ is on!” Actually, I’m going on hiatus because of various reasons, a big one being the fact that I need a second job as I mentioned earlier this week.

The site will not going to be on hiatus without mentioning significant statements though. I have some links up and I now got BSPlayer. Now, my site will be able to flow with ease this time around for the most part.

Yes, I am enjoying “Hayate no Gotoku”. I tell you. Kugimiya Rie-san is everywhere. Ha ha ha! I haven’t seen the other series yet though.

Right now, this is the day of SNK’s King, Mature and Shingo. I should play “1998″ again and beat it with these three, but that’s okay. I could have sworn I have done this before.

Oh! Chupiler said that today is “Suchie Day”. There are remakes of some game of the series for the PSP and the DS I believe. (I can’t remember, but I believe the third game’s getting a remake.) Love the art (as the art’s by Sonoda Ken’ichi-san), but hated the fact that I can never play mahjong that well. XD

Well, that’s that. I have to be at some place in a half-hour or so. Ja mata ne.

“Fate/Stay Night” Fighting Game

Saber vs. Archer.

Fans of “Fate”, if you haven’t noticed by now, there’s an announcement in regards of a “Fate/Stay Night” action fighting game for the PSP. Apparently, the game will be developed by Cavia and Capcom will publish it. Not much else has been revealed up to this point.

Source(s): 2ch, Canned Dogs and Insert Credit.

All that has been said can be found here. Of course, the NGPC has a joystick after all. On a side note, you can find more images here.

闇の誕生日。

Right now in Japan, it is the birthday of one of not only my favorite characters, but one of my best characters also in “Justice Gakuen”: Kyousuke. “Today is Hyou’s birthday.” You think that would be such an easy statement to say, but if you know your “Justice Gakuen”, you should know that Hyou died so young.

Now, if you excuse me, I must now go pay my respects to Hyou.

No Joke

No April Fools joke this year. I can’t think of anything witty to bring out. That Misato Mitsumi Cafe idea has been used up already. Someday, someone will make it a reality…I think.

I don’t plan on typing much this month because I’m trying to find a way to remedy my money problems. Unfortunately, I’m stuck at working in Milpitas and it’s a bother. I further prove my claim that I don’t have a good reason to go to Milpitas on a semi-daily basis. Not only that, I may have to give up my dream trip of going to Japan. I hate giving up pay checks for something important, but it’s what I have to do.

I will most likely get a second job. In fact, I don’t have much of a choice. I need to get a second job. Lots of people I know have a second job, but following suit, this will mean that I need to have one day off per week or two. I have to plan carefully from here on.

Anyway, I wish all of the participants of the That Anime Blog audition the best. I really did this for fun as I have said earlier. Nothing more.

Judgement

Remember this entry? It appears that TAB is now doing the judging and surprisingly, I’m only up against four people. (Figured that there would be way more than that.) To be honest, I did it just for kicks. I don’t really expect to be the chosen typer. I just wanted to have fun with it.

Of course, if I win the spot, I don’t know. “Surprised” is an understatement in regards of how I’d feel. Yes, it’d be an honor to be part of the group, but like I said, I’d feel more surprised seeing that I only did this for fun.

When you see my entry, as of tomorrow, I will end up watching “Xenoglossia” just because it has opportunities that I’ll never get again. I tell you. If I had animation skills, I’d so make an “Imas” series in which the idols really are watched over by producers or something. Of course, it’d be troubling because how can you replace people like Kugimiya Rie-san? Simple. You can’t. Yes, the anime will do this, but they’re the Japanese.

Anyway, I can’t think of many witty quotes to say now. I think that Tsubasa, as in the owner of that dead Wingin’ site, is really upset about how Yukiho isn’t played by Ochiai Yurika-san now in the anime, but rather by Horie Yui-san. Yes, I know that it’s Horie-san, but we prefer to be traditional. Oh and it would be cool if someone could start a “Help Bata-kun Play ‘Pink Sweets’ Foundation”.

誕生日おめでとうございます林原さん!

Right now in Japan is Hayashibara Megumi-san’s birthday. I believe she is now 20 years old. Ha ha ha! I kid. You know, it’s hard to believe that she is now 40 years old. I wonder how she’ll celebrate her birthday. The same goes for Kawasumi Ayako-san who is now 21, uh, I mean, 31.

What’s there for me to say about one of my all-time favorite seiyuu in Hayashibara Megumi-san? She influenced the second half of the 1980’s. She heavily influenced the 1990’s. Need I say more? Actually, both of these two still have something left in them.

What’s surprising is that Hayashibara-san’s not the only big person that’ll turn 40 later this year. In less than a couple of months, it’ll be Koyasu Takehito-san’s turn to be 40. For June, it’s Ueda Yuuji-san. At the end of August, Hiramatsu Akiko-san turns 40 also. Oh and towards the end of the year, Mitsuishi Kotono-san hits that time as well as Koshiro Yuuzou-san who contributed to “Pink Sweets’” OST if you’re wondering what is his latest work. Wow. So many people.

Since I brought up “Pink Sweets”, I have to mention that it has nearly been a year since it was released and yet, I still haven’t played it. I’m beyond mad to put it lightly. I am now forced to wait for a PS2 release because no arcade place here’s willing to accept it. I bet that somewhere in Manila, the game’s there. I don’t know. If there is a place that has the game in the area, I’m so going to be moving there soon.

Of course, I want the OST. (Details can be found here and here by the way.) I don’t know if there’s a special version of it, but I wouldn’t mind paying an extra $15 or so for a figurine of Kasumi or any of the other girls. Ho ho ho! Ahem!

Uh, the OST was released a few months back and besides your usual Cave people and Koshiro-san, people like Sasou Ayako-san and Hosoe Shinji-san, both of them turning 40 earlier this year, are here as well. So, if you like their works, you’ll definitely want to pick it up. On a side note, I think I invented a new term: “romantic techno”. I tell you, if NEC manages to make a 10th anniversary album of the “Sentimental” series and Koshiro-san works on a track, I’ve seen everything then.

So, yeah, “Pink Sweets” has occupied some of my time as of late. I’m waiting for my port Taito! Oh and don’t mess up!

I am going to visit a friend’s place soon. I am pretty sure he wants to test out my newly created characters from “Moero! Justice Gakuen”. Not the best job in the world in regards of my creations, but at least I have something. I’ll definitely need a bunch of favors for him. Of course, he’ll get something, seeing that his birthday’s coming up.
